MFA Recognises Young Players During U14 Tournament Preparations

MFA Recognises Young Players During U14 Tournament Preparations

As preparations continue for the upcoming CFU U14 Challenge Series, the Montserrat Football Association (MFA) has recognised a group of young players for their commitment, discipline and dedication throughout the training programme.

The Normalisation Committee saw it fit to acknowledge those players who consistently attended training sessions, demonstrated positive behaviour and embraced the standards expected as part of the national youth programme.

Each player received a token of appreciation, including a pair of football boots and shin guards, in recognition of their efforts and to support their continued development in the game.

While not every player will be selected for the final squad travelling to the tournament, the MFA considers every participant an important part of the continued development and rebuilding of youth football in Montserrat.

The initiative reinforces the importance of recognising more than footballing ability. Attendance, discipline, effort, attitude and positive behaviour all play a vital role in player development and in establishing the standards required for a successful national programme.

Through this gesture, the MFA hopes to encourage the players to remain committed to their development and to continue participating in future football programmes and opportunities.

As the Association continues its preparations for the regional tournament, it remains focused on investing in young people and building a sustainable future for football in Montserrat, both on and off the field.
